EXPERIENCE | With over 18 years of experience in the health insurance managing agency space, Barb has held numerous positions with a strong focus on driving sales growth, agent relationship management, and operational efficiency.  Barb has been a member of the Metro Detroit Association of Health Underwriters (now The National Association of Benefits & Insurance Professionals Metro Detroit Chapter (NABIP Metro Detroit Chapter)) since 2012, serving on the Board of Directors from 2013 through 2021.  Barb also serves on the Board of Directors of Pink Sisters Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting community members diagnosed with breast cancer. With her vast industry knowledge and proactive approach to growth and operations, Barb is an active and respected industry leader.

EXPERIENCE | Michael has over thirty years experience in the group insurance and benefits industry.  He has worked for several Fortune 500 companies in both service and sales capacities, including John Hancock, Prudential, and Aetna. Joining the HAA team in 2015 and working in what he considers the most rewarding time of his career, Michael utilizes the valuable experience and training he has gained across market segments and product lines.

SPECIALTY | Although the industry landscape has changed dramatically over the past few decades, one of the few constants is, and always will be, service.  While there are certain things we can’t control – such as pricing/renewal increase, we can certainly control the service aspect and that is what we are most proud of.  After price, it is the most important element in retaining business.  The value we place on an agency relationship is unparalleled – with the goal of turning that relationship into a successful partnership. EXPERIENCE |Nikki began her career as an enrollment consultant, moving into roles as a renewal consultant, agent consultant and team leader. As a team leader, Nikki worked with the team to ensure our agent partners received a superior experience working with HAA. Well versed in both the small and large group markets, Nikki is HAA’s Director of Retention, where she applies the knowledge and experience she has gained to support HAA’s agents to in retaining their business with HAP.

EXPERIENCE | Introduced to the industry as a new business consultant for HAA, Greg spent several years helping to implement and retain small group business for Health Alliance Administrators and their customers. Now the Director of Operations for HAA, his primary focus is to use his analytical skills to ensure the company’s processes and procedures fully support the customer experience and HAA team.

SPECIALTY | Enhancing internal and external processes and procedures to elevate the customer experience. Working directly with our producer partners to help navigate their and their customers experience with HAA. Handling escalated and unique situations that require creative solutions for bringing on and/or retaining business.
