The 2016 Medicare Advantage Enrollment Period begins October 15th. Regardless of whether or not you are assigned to HAA or work directly with HAP on your group and Personal Alliance business, HAA will be facilitating all agent Medicare business.
HAP MEDICARE AGENT CERTIFICATION
The 2016 Medicare Advantage certification process will remain consistent with last year’s process. All agents that want to sell 2016 HAP or Alliance Medicare Advantage products and/or receive renewal commissions on existing business MUST complete all required courses. HAP is utilizing the Gorman certification program and offer the following modules:
- CMS Required 2016 Agent & Broker training and certification
- CMS Required Fraud, Waste and Abuse Training
- CMS Compliance Training
- HAP Required – 2016 Products and Plan Designs – COMPLETE AT AN HAA TRAINING!

If you have already completed the 2016 Gorman or AHIP certification training (which satisfies the CMS required training), you DO NOT have to take it again. You will be asked to upload your certificate of completion for that session and move on to the next course. Click here to review the full 2016 Medicare Agent Certification Instructions.
You WILL need to complete the HAP 2016 Products and Plan Designs. The module can be found on the Gorman link OR it can be completed at one of the HAA Medicare training sessions. Please bring a copy of your Gorman or AHIP certification to the class and you can walk out the door fully certified to sell HAP 2016 Medicare Advantage products!
